$PRMTS buy and sell fees are an important component of the Prometheus platform.

Prometheus Finance has implemented trading fees in order to sustain and provide an industry-leading APY.They provide capital for performing critical functions to the protocol 👇

• Prometheus Liquidity Pool - Trading fees goes to backing the liquidity of the $PRMTS/$ETH pair on Sushiswap ensuring an ever-increasing collateral value of $PRMTS.

• Prometheus Insurance Fund (PIF)- It helps sustain and back the Auto-staking Rewards provided by the Positive Rebase through the Farming, Investment and Buyback mechanism. (To limit selling pressure and allow a greater sustainability of $PRMTS by maintaining an acceptable price level.)

• Prometheus Treasury - Trading fees go directly to the treasury which supports the PIF and provides a marketing budget for Prometheus and funds new product development.

• The Black Hole - 1% of all $PRMTS traded are burnt in the Black Hool. The more that is traded, the more get put into the fire causing the black hole to grow in size, larger and larger through self-fulfilling auto-compounding which in return acts to reduce the circulating supply of $PRMTS and keeping the $PRMTS platform stable.
